About us….
My name is Mark Gleason. When my son was a junior at an Atlanta-area high school, I hired a company to help us locate a compatible college baseball program. After a couple of months, I realized that they would not– or could not– do what they had promised. I took matters into my own hands and developed a marketing plan and strategy to get the exposure he needed.
My `rookie` effort produced very positive results. My son received five offers to play baseball. News of our success traveled fast among his teammates; several parents asked me to employ the same marketing strategies to help their sons and daughters achieve their athletic goals. After several more success stories, I was convinced that my `game plan` would work for any talented aspiring high school or college athlete.
C.H.A.M.P.S. Inc. has worked with high school and college athletes throughout the United States as well as France, the U.K. and Canada.
Several C.H.A.M.P.S. Baseball Athletes have been drafted by MLB: 2012, 2011 & 2005;
James Ramsey 2011 MVP & 2 x Academic All American-Florida State University (Drafted 2012 1st Round 23rd pick overall) & Richard Pirkle Georgia College & State University (see 2011 MLB Draft Ramsey & Pirkle). In the spring of 2005, C.H.A.M.P.S. athlete Drew Morgan was drafted directly out of high school (see: Morgan Drafted by Padres 37th Round). In addition, several other of our athletes have experienced success beyond college as well (see “Success Stories Matt Maloney“).

How the C.H.A.M.P.S System Works
We use time-tested direct marketing methods to approach college coaches and recruiters allowing them to preview talent without leaving the office.
We are a proactive, one on one, marketing and consulting firm dedicated to helping athletes, in all sports, continue their athletic careers at the next level. We consult, coach advise and assist our clients throughout the entire college recruiting and admissions process.
To briefly describe what our company does, we *professionally market high school and college athletes to college athletic programs across the country. Through the use of technology and effective marketing we market each of our clients to college coaches and recruiting staffs across the country, one at a time. Each client is given one on one attention from the day they sign with us to the day they sign with a college athletic program and beyond. We are not a “list them on the internet and forget em” type service. In addition to helping high school and college athletes around the country, the U.K. and Canada, we have helped several college athletes make it to the professional ranks using the same strategies. There are affordable 1, 2 and 3 year packages available see “Packages and Fees”
*Our athletes are professionally marketed to include the use of : the internet – web based profiles linked to skills/live game videos, direct email and phone campaigns to any athletic program in the country.
We maintain detailed records of our contacts with college program’s on the athlete’s behalf, and provide them and their parents with periodic updates so that they can monitor our progress.
