Scouting Report – Jared Chapman Martin, Senior, 6’ 205 lb. C/IF, Dunwoody H.S. Baseball, Dunwoody, GA.  has signed to continue his athletic career at Chattahoochee Valley CC, Phenix City, AL.  Jared is a consistent line drive, gap to gap hitter who has batted third or fourth on every team he’s played on since Little League;  has excellent defensive abilities with a plus cannon arm.  His pop times are in the high 1.8’s  A heady alert catcher, he’s  trusted to call his own games. In addition, he is a leader on the field and off. His work ethic is unparalleled.  Jared always says, “I won’t be out-worked, ever.” When he’s not catching he plays 3rd base and 1st base.  Jared has consistently competed at the highest level in high school as well as travel baseball.  Since 2009 he’s competed on the: East Cobb Titans, where they were runner ups at the Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Tournament Championship Game played at Turner Field, was a member of the East Cobb Brewers for 2009-2010 seasons and has competed as a member of the East Cobb Astros for the Fall of the 2010 Season and the Summer and Fall for 2011.

Jared’s the complete package on the academic side as well where he is carrying a 3.45 GPA; member of the gifted student program, grades 1-12.
