Scouting Report - Jacob Kinder, Senior, Lambert H.S. 6’ 2”  220 lbs. DE, TB, Team Captain – Dual Sport Athlete – Football/Track.  Jacob, a three year varsity letterman on the football team and a four year letterman on the track team.  In football, he has competed at the defensive end, and tailback positions, all as a member of Lambert H.S. Longhorns Team who were Region Runner Ups and made the State Playoffs in the schools 2010 inaugural season. His 2011 stats speak for themselves: 1 TD, 56.5 total tackles, 9.5 for a loss, 7.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumbles, 3 recovered. He runs a 4.58 second 40,  5-10-5  4.28 seconds and in the weight room squats 445 lb., power cleans 285 lb. and benches 320 lb.  Jacob also will be a four year varsity letterman on the track team where he competes in the triple jump (41’ 6”), the long jump, (19’ 11”) the 100 meter dash (11.26 sec.), the shot put (40’) and 4 x 100 relay.  His work ethic and dedication as a dual sport athlete are second to none.

Jacob’s dedication and work ethic apply on the academic side as well where he carries a 2.9 GPA, is taking AP college level courses (History & Calculus) and has scored a 1490 on the SAT’s and will be taking the ACT exam in June of 2011.  He gives freely of his time to his church where he is a Small Group Co-Leader for middle school teens and is a 4 year member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
