Scouting Report -Kyle Granger, Lambert High School Longhorns – P/IF,  5’11”, 175lbs., Class of 2013; Kyle is an exceptional student athlete. He competes as a pitcher and is skilled at the first and third base positions as well.  At the pitching position Kyle throws: a 2/4 seam fastball in the low to mid 80’s, a curve ball in the 68 mph range, his change up averages 72-73 mph, and his ERA is in the mid 3’s range. He has started and pitched in relief.

Defense – Kyle has a strong arm, competes at the 1B/3B positions, has caught in the past, commits few errors, plays solid defense, and has an accurate arm. Offense – As a hitter: hits gap to gap opposite field, hits for average, is a dedicated player with a great work ethic; he’s the first to arrive and the last to leave, and is very passionate about the game, batted .492 in his 2011 season.

Academics: Kyle carries a 3.4 GPA, is an Honor Roll Student, has taken AP Courses in Language and Psychology.  He is a member of the: Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Interact Lambert HS (marketing principals and theory).
