LDixonScouting Report — Leopold M. Alexander Dixon SS/P – a versatile player who can pitch, play infield (excellent SS) outfield and will do whatever it takes to help his team succeed.  His accomplishments are second to none. So far in the 2010 season, Leopold has 55 Innings Pitched (#1 in the county), 60 K’s (#1 in the county) 4 W & 4 L with an ERA of 2.80.  On the offensive side of the plate he’s batting .382, with 55 AB (4th in the county), 21 H, 17 R, 4 HR, 3 doubles, 2 triples, and 17 RBI, with games still left in the season.  His 2009 season statistics saw him ranked #1 in the county for home runs at 9, #1 in the county in stolen bases at 40, with 27 RBI, 41 H,  and was Honored by being select to the First Team All Dekalb County.

Towers High School Head Baseball Coach Inglis Hunter was quoted recently in the Champion Newspaper, attributing Leopold success this season, “to a tireless dedication to improving his skills and a new workout regimen. He’s in good shape, I gave him a core workout to do and it’s carried over from last year resulting in more power at the plate.”
