Yancey Signs Newberry College
November 17, 2009 – Jennifer Yancey, SS, Senior, Dunwoody HS, Dunwoody, Ga. Class of 2010, will continue her softball career at the collegiate level. She signed a National Letter of Intent to compete at Newberry College, Newberry, SC. She received a very nice academic and athletic scholarship and has already been accepted to the school. She has played both JV and Varsity softball at Dunwoody for 5 years, Travel Softball with the Atlanta Flames, Worth Cobras and Georgia Fire Gold and also played several years at Murphey Candler. She was recently named Dekalb County All Region 1st team and was also a Dekalb County All-Star. Jennifer received the Wildcat Award for her Senior Year, was MVP her Junior Year and served as Co-Captain the last two years. Best wishes and continued success.
