Brent is a true team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. He possesses solid fundamentals and can compete at multiple positions (SS,2B,3B). As a catcher; receiving, he has excellent blocking skills with good agility and quick lateral movement. He knows his pitching staff and how to
handle each one. His easy relaxed manner behind the plate make him a favorite among the pitchers. Being a student of the game he continuously assesses pitchers and batters and is capable of calling pitches during the game. Throwing: Known for quick release, footwork, and getting rid of the ball in a hurry. Hitting: Possesses above average power; 2008 – 7 Home Runs, 25 RBI, .459 OB % and an .859 SLG%.
As an infielder, Brent is equally proficient at: shortstop, second and third base. Defensively, his skills are second to none.
