Jennifer Sansano’s  sansano_018hard work and dedication has earned her a starting position, as a pitcher, at the Varsity level, every year she has played; at 5’ 11” with a clock speed in the 63-64 mph range (with tremendous ball movement), she’s a force to be reckoned with. Her freshman year she started as a pitcher on the Varsity Squad.  Jennifer has competed with the best and has the numbers to back it up;  2007 Statistics are as follows: 12 W 6 L, .667 win %, 83 H, 40 RS, 13 ER, 33 BB, 124 SO and an ERA of .705 with 6.729 strikeouts per game.  2008 was an even better year with: 15 W 6 L, .714 win %, 68 H, 40 RS, 18 ER, 30 BB, 203 SO, .892 ERA, with 10.05 strikeouts per game. 2009 has been Jen’s best year to date, she racked up: 18 W 1 L, .947 Win%, 139 IP, 541 AB, 58 H, 27 RS, 10 ER, 26 BB, 247 SO, and an ERA of .504.  She has earned the following Honors:  ECIC 1st Team Selection 2007, 2008, 2009 - All Western New York 1st Team 2008, 2009 -  All Western New York “Pitcher  of the Year” 2008, All ECIC 1st Team 2008, 2009 – All ECIC Pitcher of The Year 2008, 2009 – All New York State 2008, 2009 – Team MVP 2008, 2009 and Second Team All New York State 2008.
