Ahlzadeh Signs at Meridian CC MS.
Avi Ahlzadeh, Catcher/IF, Dunwoody H.S. Dunwoody, GA. Class of 2009 – will continue his baseball career at the collegiate level, as a catcher and has signed with Meridian Community College, Meridian, MS. Avi, was a four year starter at the Varsity level; during his junior season he was instrumental in helping his team win their region and being a state semi-finalist. He continued his winning ways by earning Offensive Player of the Year and All State Honors; while batting .410, with 23 RBI, .577 SLG%, .515 OB%. As a sophomore, batting cleanup, he helped Dunwoody to one of its most successful seasons ever as State AAA Champions & Region 5-AAA Champs. Congratulations Avi continued success !
