Joseph “Joe” Montgomery IV, is a 6′ 5″ 190 lb. senior at St. Pius X Catholic H.S. Atlanta, Georgia. Joe is a smart and unselfish player on both ends of the court. In addition to being an excellent passer and ball handler with great hands, Joe is a versatile guard/forward who plays 2, 3 and 4. He is a confident shooter with excellent mechanics who will penetrate and shoot from the perimeter equally. Joe is an active defender and rebounder, as well as a clutch free throw shooter, and doesn’t get rattled under pressure.

He knows the Princeton Offense well and is a team player who will do whatever it takes to win. The physical upside to Joe is that he is still growing. He is a student athlete well worth consideration at the collegiate level.

In addition to high school basketball, Joe is a member of the elite Suwanee Sports Academy, where he trains and competes on a travel squad coached by Kevin Cantwell (770.490.6580 email: kcantwell@ssasports.com). He has competed in the Run and Shoot Summer League and as a member of the Roswell Rockets AAU/YBOA.
